Bim and Boum both have VU/dancing clock LFO LEDs displaying in bypass mode but Bam LEDs only show VU LEDs in active mode and screen is blank in bypass. Only thing I have found so far that’s maybe not quite as it should be. Bought all 3 boxes today and really loving them much more than expected.
There’s no bug here. All 3 units can display a VU meter (see the display mode setting on the User Manual), not only in bypass but whenever you’re not changing a parameter. BIM can also display its LFO speed which creates this nice LEDs dance !
I’m sorry. I didn’t give a sufficient explanation of the problem. I should have said BIM and BOUM both have VU/dancing clock LFO LEDs displaying in bypass mode AND active mode but BAM VU LEDs only display when in active mode but in bypass mode LEDs are off.
Bam.. VU mode (led 2) shows VU when active but blank screen in bypass on my unit
No problem. Maybe your BAM is in Spillover or Aux bypass mode ? In these 2 modes, the sound is muted when ACTIVE is off, so there’s no VU. It’s can’t be fixed but firmware because it’s a hardware limitation.
