InactiveHi,
I’ve beenn enjoying the BIM very much so far.
However, i wish the setting on feedback limiter could be slightly more versatile.Would it be possible to add a limiter “ratio-ish” setting ?
For exemple when you entered feedback limiter mode :Top led1/2 : ON/OFF
By adding bottom led : ratio (position 1,2,3 & 4) with position of 4 almost innactive.
Doing so we would be able to choose a feedback limitation (aka speaker insurance) while keeping a nice feedback movement.
The limiter in some case have tendencies to cut the signal too shortly (at least to my taste).(I know that “ratio” stands better for Compressors but i don’t think we would benefit much for having a complete compressor before the limiter in the chain (neither we need the typical attack/decay, treshold functions of it imho).
Thanks in advance
Regards

KeymasterHi,
Thanks for your suggestion. The feedback limiter is an analog hardware feature so we can’t add new settings on it with a firmware upgrade. Sorry !
All the best,

InactiveThanks for the reply.
Ah, feedback path is part of the analog processing !
I thought the limiter was after the 12bits AD/DA conversion.
Sorry ! -
