I scored a second hand Biscuit which I plan to use with my synths, DAW fx loop and guitar. I have read various forums and seen a few demos for guitar setups. If I want to use this in a pedal chain into a valve amp is there anything else I need to do to the signal from my guitars? None of my pickups are active so the impedance is standard. The one thing I did read was that the dry level would pass through and be lower than the wet signal. Is that true? Tips welcome!

You can use the Biscuit’s drive knob to boost your incoming signal a bit. I generally try to add a bit gain before the Biscuit, as it allows me to get a more subtle signal blend while hearing less noise artifacts. Of course, if you’re intent on really mangling your guitar, you won’t notice said noise amidst the chaos ;)

It worked really well, you just have to be careful as the output is really hot into a guitar amp.
